Artist Statement
These paintings are about quiet moments in nature—the kind that stay with you long after you've seen them. A soft path through wildflowers, trees standing in the mist, or grasses leaning in the breeze. I’m drawn to the in-between places—where the light is hazy, the air feels still, and the world seems to pause.
Rather than trying to capture every detail, I let things stay loose and open. Edges blur. Colors fade into one another. Sometimes the scene feels more like a memory than a picture—something familiar but just out of reach.
I want these pieces to offer a sense of calm and presence. A place to breathe. A reminder of how beautiful the quiet can be.
Biography
As a self-taught artist, I have spent over a decade exploring and experimenting with paint to develop my own unique style. Through years of trial and error, I have discovered my authentic voice, which is characterized by bold, gestural mark-making, vibrant colors, and playful textures. Without any formal training, I have embraced the imperfections and spontaneity of the creative process, allowing my paintings to evolve organically over time. My hope is that my art inspires others to embrace their own creativity and explore the world with a sense of curiosity.
